Do you need more traffic driven to your online business?
Are you someone that has an online business, you have been working like crazy but it seems that business is just slow?
Here are some thing you can do to drive traffic to your business.
Take advantage of online free business directories like Manta at manta.com
Create a blog and write blogs about your business-blogger.com
(your blog is live on the Google search engine)
Create Youtube videos for your business-people are doing this everyday and it works
Place ads in free classified ads daily-(yes I mean daily!)
Ebay has a free classified ad section (do an online search for ebay free classified ads)
Give away something free-people love the word free, almost free or buy one get one free
When ever you add your links to your social media networks make sure you ask your friends or followers to repost your links especially family members.
Pass out your business cards everyday. Leave some in the bank, post office, grocery store,
etc.
Ask friends and family members to help put the word out for you-reward them with something
Start an affiliate program if you have a product to sell. You can pay people to help you sell your product.
Have parties to promote your business. It doesn't have to be anything big.
Allow others to host parties for your business and again give them something free.
Once or twice a year place an ad in your local newspaper-try doing a press release for your business
I think that sometimes people create businesses or websites and have the impression that people will just flood them with business. This is a misconception. Marketing is a huge part of how you will make money in any business. Have you ever noticed that some of the most simple inventions make the most money? Marketing, positioning, and content play huge rolls in this. Marketing being how you attempt to sell your product, positioning means how to actually position your products to make them look attractive, and content means to make sure you have something worth selling.
Honestly there are millions of ways to drive traffic to your business but you have to choose what works for you. Be creative and make sure you stand out in any crowd as competition in your related field is there. There are probably hundreds if not thousands of people that possibly do the same thing that you do. Figure out what you can do to make what you do different. Your thing may not be blogging or videos but maybe you are a great party host. In all that you do, make it happen and never give up as marketing approaches should be an ongoing thing even if you don't see results now believe that in due season that you will reap the benefits of your hard work. So do not be weary if it is for you it will happen!!!
(Remember if you have no traffic or visibility you won't make a dime online or anywhere else) People need to see you, know who you are and what you sell. I see people all the time that say they have a business but I can't tell it. Also remember that top sellers don't become top sellers easily! They put a lot of time and energy in what they do. Put some telemarketing skills in action and make it work!!
